Arriving in San Diego…We Made It!

By Sunday night, we had reached Albequergue, New Mexico.  It was great to get out of the car and unwind. Monday morning we got an early start and stayed on I40 throughUsflag Arizona and into the California’s Mojave desert. P.S. Nothing compared to Kuwait and Iraq!  No camels or insurgents!   Can’t leave the desert without a big salute to all of our friends in the Armed Forces that are carrying on the fight.  We know your pain! Hang tough, the whole country’s proud of you!

We turned south onto I15 and cruised into San Diego!  What a trip, but we’ll be ready to hoot and holler at tomorrow night’s San Diego game.  The Padres are playing the Braves.  It should be a great match-up.

Welcome to California! We’re very glad you made it back to the US safe and sound. We hope to see you in L.A. (but understand if you have other plans).

Welcome to Cali Boys! Have a great time at the game tonight. Hopefully the weather will be better when you head north and visit Petaluma. Can’t wait to see you both!
